Tempe, Ariz., December 23, 2011 – nQueue Billback and its employees have combined to support those less fortunate this holiday season. This year’s beneficiaries are The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, Sunshine Angels in Phoenix and City AM Christmas Appeal in London. Virtually all employees made contributions, 100% of which were matched dollar-for-dollar by the company.
“Our employees chose some extremely worthwhile causes,” said Rick Hellers, President & CEO of nQueue Billback. Children’s Medical Center of Dayton treats 275,000 children each year, many of them with severe illnesses.
Sunshine Angels provides a safe haven and quality care for approximately 250 children many of whom have suffered abuse, neglect or abandonment. “Our vision is to instill self esteem and assurance to these children and show them that they are loved and valued. We prove through actions and deeds that there will be a brighter tomorrow.”
This year’s London’s City AM Christmas Appeal is supporting Opportunity International, which provides microloans, savings, insurance and business training to more than two million poverty-stricken people in 21 developing countries. “Opportunity gives its clients the chance to unlock their own potential and work their way out of poverty.” The U.K. Government matches all donations, so each pound donated by nQueue Billback’s employees actually puts £4 in the hands of poor African entrepreneurs.
“Considering the good fortune we have had as a group and the fun we share at special times of the year, it is only appropriate that we each open up our hearts for those who need it most,” added Hellers. “I am extremely proud of our team for stepping up and couldn’t be happier about being able to match all contributions.” This marks the sixth consecutive year that nQueue Billback has chosen a charity and matched employee contributions.
